Eva Lindström’s Apan och jag is a rhyming picture book for younger children. It tells the story of a playful little monkey who runs away from his human friend. The friend misses the monkey terribly and waits anxiously for him to return. Meanwhile, readers know exactly where the monkey is - he is hiding somewhere in every illustration, waiting to be discovered.
Eva Lindström was born in 1952 in Västerås, Sweden. She studied at the Västerås Art School and at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. An author and illustrator with a distinctive personal style, she has created around forty picture books.
